Zoutou | The Gift
Zoutou | The Gift: After the recent success of the In Apolo's Name project, it was shown that Apolo fans can make a difference by supporting the Ronald McDonald House Charities. Zoutou | The Gift strives to allow Apolo's dedicated fans to continue to support these charities. No better place to make a difference than in Salt Lake City, UT, the city that will always mean something special to him. [More info.]

A Special Note from Operation Kirkland

Okay ST fans, are you up for yet another Apolo-inspired fundraising effort? We hope so! They come at you kind of fast and furious these days, don’t they?

Sort of like that crazy sport Apolo so loves...

This one is a chance to make a direct impact on a family close to Apolo’s heart. It is going to benefit Cody Kirkland. For Cody’s update, see the August 14th Ohno Zone post about Operation Kirkland Part 1. Why Cody? Well, he rocks. Why now? A few good ideas came together at the right time, with the Pediatric Heart Transplant Foundation being the catalyst.

Get all the details at http://www.angelfire.com/hero/projectao/
Alternate site: http://www.angelfire.com/magic/aovtransfer/

(This project was made possible through the hard work and creative ideas of Barb of the Pediatric Heart Transplant Foundation, Sonia, Jill and Jennie, not to mention the enthusiastic cooperation of Apolo Anton Ohno.)

Apolo Lands At PMG For Representation

Our site strives to bring interaction between the US Short Track athletes and their loyal supporters, as well as making a cyber place to interact & get information on the sport. We'll be bringing enthusiastic fan-based World Cup coverage, photos, latest news, and more!"

Oval Inspirations reminder
Visit www.ovalinspirationsproject.2ya.com and submit something to let the skaters know how much you appreciate them. Don't miss your chance to let Apolo & the U.S. Short Track team know how they've inspired you! Deadline for submissions is September 13th.

Stand with Apolo & the U.S. Short Track Team
If you read Apolo's letter to the USOC and want to help support him and the U.S. Short Track Team in their goal of being heard by U.S. Speedskating, read the athletes' requests and sign this petition: Stand Up for U.S. Short Track.

Apolo and seven of his team mates have already signed the petition.

For more information on this important issue, visit The Champion, a site dedicated to promoting communication between fans of speed skating and the United States Olympic Committee.
