Apolo to Compete at World Cup #5!
Apolo will be competing at World Cup #5 February 6-8 in the Czech Republic. He is financing this trip entirely on his own. Being able to compete at the final 2 World Cups of the season is very important to Apolo after having to skip World Cup #3 last November.
The remainder of the U.S. team will compete only at World Cup #6, as previously announced, due to the funding shortfall at US Speedskating. (Thanks to Noelle from the Ohno Zone for the info!)

Rodriguez, Ohno Named U.S. Speedskating's 2003 Athletes of the Year
U.S. Speedskating has named Jennifer Rodriguez (Miami, Fla.) and Apolo Anton Ohno (Seattle, Wash.) as its Athletes of the Year for 2003. Read all about it here.
Jennifer and Apolo are now eligible for the United States Olympic Committee's 2003 Athletes of the Year Awards.

Apolo Among First Round of Finalists for AAU James E. Sullivan Memorial Award
For the second straight year, Apolo Anton Ohno is among the 12 finalists as the Amateur Athletic Union announced on Monday the names of the top nominees for the 74th Annual AAU James E.
